Job Description
A leading statewide non-profit dynamic and innovative association seeks a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team in a senior position as Vice President for Program Services and Policy
This position will have a pivotal role in a leading capacity in areas including:
· policy and program development
· policy and program analysis, including legislative, regulatory and budget, both state and federally
· advocacy at the state and federal levels
· providing program, technical and consultative support services to the Association’s home and community-based care organizational members - including certified home health agencies (CHHAs), licensed home care services agencies (LHCSAs), health plans, hospices, consumer directed personal assistance programs, waiver programs, and allied support organizations
· research and development
· delivery of testimony
· representation of the Association in collaborative work with other health sectors and state and federal agencies
· participation in grant initiatives
· participation in member and public communications
The successful candidate will have required experience in home and community-based care and demonstrated expertise in the functional position related areas described. Additional essential skills include critical analysis, ability to develop creative solutions, effective writing skills and strong interpersonal and relationship skills. Seeking a person with passion for the health care field.
Preferred credentials and experience include MPH, MSW, BSN, MHA, or equivalent; association experience, and skills drafting legislation, budget, regulatory, and policy proposal language. Must be able to work collaboratively and maintain a consistently positive outlook towards all members and staff. Some travel will be required. This position reports directly to the President and CEO and will have supervisory and guidance roles in regard to professional team members.
In return, the Association offers a flexible and fast paced work environment and access to company sponsored benefits with a salary between $75,000 and $95,000 - commensurate with experience and qualifications.
