Leverage your existing experience to support our team and ensure clients navigate the ever-evolving landscape of rural broadband policy and compliance. Responsibilities:

  • Empower clients with knowledge by analyzing complex legal and regulatory information and translating it into clear, concise communication for clients. 
  • Conduct in-depth research on federal and state regulations specific to rural broadband deployments. 
  • Assist in developing and maintaining compliance resources for clients, drawing on your understanding of relevant regulations. 
  • Collaborate with the team to prepare presentations and client advisories on regulatory updates, actively participating in brainstorming sessions to develop effective communication strategies. 
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with clients, ensuring they receive the information they need. 
  • Support business development initiatives 
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting rural broadband.
  • Participate in team meetings, actively contributing to discussions and brainstorming solutions. Leverage your experience to identify areas where you can take initiative and contribute unique perspectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD)
  • Two years’ professional experience in the telecommunications industry or relevant internships with regulatory bodies (FCC, NTIA, USAC, USDA), communications providers, trade associations, think tanks, or state agencies are strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with outstanding client service skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in essential software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), SmartSheets, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Impeccable organizational skills allow you to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic, high-volume work environment.
  • A demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance while thriving in a collaborative team setting.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • The ability to easily navigate diverse teams and cultures, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
