Position Summary
We are currently seeking an energetic self-starter to join our team as a full-time Program Manager, Integrated Initiatives.
The Integrated Initiatives Team at TCC Group tackles complex social problems through integrated action, informed by deep listening, intentional engagement, critical analysis, and bold approaches. We help nonprofits, companies, and foundations achieve their goals through the careful choreography of multiple program components, well-integrated and implemented for lasting impact.
The Project Manager, Integrated Initiatives will lead on budget management and analysis, project operations and logistics, and provide thought partnership for new projects/the team’s business development priorities. As the team’s client engagements are a dynamic mix of long-term and short-term contracts across several project teams and budgets, the role will be tasked with multiple or specific projects at any given time, starting with managing some aspects of the team’s largest and most complex project/client.
TCC Group has offices in New York and Philadelphia. Remote candidates will be considered, with preference given to candidates in Northeastern states.

Duties and Responsibilities
Project Budget Management – 30%
· Providing day-to-day monitoring and reconciliation of the team’s financial transactions and needs for assigned clients/projects (starting with one large corporate client):
o Serving as a key collaborator and bridge between the Integrated Initiatives team and the Finance department, work closely with the firm’s Finance Manager to monitor, analyze, and reconcile the team’s expenses and revenue. This includes:
§ Ensuring that internal financial systems (Vantagepoint) are up to date and accurately reflect the client’s information.
§ Assisting with reconciliation of monthly and end of year budgets.
§ Ensure swift and hassle-free payment of third-party invoices.
o Collaborating with the Director, Integrated Initiatives, assisting with all internal and external reporting or outreach required to maintain the team’s current expenditures – includes creating monthly reports for team leadership as required.
o Creating or maintaining a system for providing project leads with an at-a-glance comparison of projects against actuals to date.
o Working with program leads to create and/or track Master Service Agreements Statements of Work and/or PO documents annually.
o Working with the relevant program leads and serving as first point of contact for contractors; create, send, and receive contracts and contract extensions from clients, affiliates, and other third-party vendors.
o Working with client Project Leads to coordinate the reconciliation of labor, revenue, and expenses monthly and/or quarterly.
Project Operations and Logistics – 30%
· Providing day-to-day project management for assigned client teams/projects:
o Managing detailed project timelines and workplans/scopes. This includes:
o Working with relevant program leads to create workplans across client projects.
o Updating existing workplans, as well as the managing the templates/tools for tracking activities/scopes and allotted labor and expenses across several programs and team members.
o Managing workflow - includes monitoring and regularly communicating progress on project workplans to internal and external stakeholders.
o Collaborating with members of the Integrated Initiatives and other project teams, track the progress, internal communications, and timely completion of client deliverables.
o Analyzing current project management tools and systems to identify needs and challenges and make recommendations to TCC Project Leads for improving and resolving them.
o Managing client relationships – includes maintaining regular communication (i.e., telephone, email) with client (external) project liaison(s), creating decks for quarterly budget meetings with clients, and preparing all other necessary client related documents (such as invoices, activity reports, etc.).
o Working closely with the Administrative Assistant, Integrated Initiatives, assist with coordinating project related administrative tasks e.g., meeting scheduling, travel arrangement and meeting logistics.
New Projects - Business Development/Thought Leadership – 15%
· Supporting relevant team members with sales pitches to new or potential clients - includes helping develop sales decks, proposals, and/or workplans.
· Providing project management support for the development of thought leadership aligned with the team’s and firm’s business development priorities.
TCC Group Firm Culture – 25%
· Supporting relevant staff members across the firm to operationalize work aimed to maintain and improve overall firm culture. This is inclusive but not limited to support around staff engagement, internal communications, learning opportunities, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
Qualifications
Required
· Commitment to TCC Group and the Integrated Initiatives team values – includes interest in working to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts and progressive social change.
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, finance, public health or a related field OR equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
· 4 – 5 years of relevant work experience (i.e., budget management, project management, strategy, consulting, quantitative and qualitative research, and organizational development).
· Project management skills: Demonstrated track record creating workplans and scopes, developing and/or improving systems, monitoring work progress, coordinating among team members (including remote staff and affiliate consultants), monitoring time and budgets.
· Budget management and financial analysis skills: Proven acumen and understanding of budgets and financials. A demonstrated track record of managing complex and intricate budgets - oftentimes across multiple projects.
· Communication skills: Ability to convey complex and often sensitive information clearly in writing - reports, memos, and PowerPoint presentation; as well as ability to interface verbally with stakeholders and clients (internal and external) at all levels, clearly, respectfully, and straightforwardly.
· Technical skills: Strong proficiency (intermediate to advanced) in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint); project management tools, and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom and Teams).
· Process driven, able to create and update existing processes – includes developing templates or workflow diagrams to create efficiencies.
· Thrives in and is stimulated by working within a fast-paced, dynamic environment - able to juggle/work on multiple projects simultaneously.
· Confident and comfortable working with diverse colleagues and clients in a team setting – able to able to take direction and receive constructive feedback from multiple team members, as well as work collaboratively toward strengthening a respectful workplace within TCC and with client partners.
· Self-initiating and proactive, problem-solving oriented.
Preferred
· Graduate/Advanced degree and/or Project Management certification
· Previous experience working in philanthropic or consulting environment
· Knowledge of public health or sexual healthcare industry
