Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) is seeking a dynamic candidate to fill a full time Strategic Partnership & Prop 5 Coalition Manager position based in Colchester, VT. This is a one year grant funded position but is expected to continue through November of 2022, with potential to continue beyond. The Strategic Partnership & Prop 5 Coalition Manager is a central member of the Planned Parenthood Vermont Action Fund team and will work with patient advocates, storytellers, racial justice advocates and other organizations/ community partners to develop & manage a Coalition to support the Proposition 5 campaign, and other policy and campaign work of the PPVTAF. Prop 5 is a proposed amendment to the Vermont Constitution to guarantee all Vermonters reproductive liberty. 


With direction from the VP of VT Public Affairs, and in collaboration with the VT Public Affairs team, this position will provide support to the organizing team, communications, and policy work as well as assisting in implementing the overall PPNNE & VT Action Fund 2020 electoral strategies. Primary duties include creating, and managing the Prop 5 Coalition; and training and cultivating action councils for patient advocates, Storytellers & other key populations who can serve as the public face of the organization.  This position requires a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in all aspects of work, including the Prop 5 coalition, action councils, and planning and execution of campaigns, strategies, and tactics. 


Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience in reproductive rights policy and advocacy, the ability to engage others to advance the organization’s policy agenda, and a willingness to think creatively about how to engage volunteers and community partners in this work. Ideal candidates will have experience working with people from diverse ethnic, linguistic, socioeconomic and cultural communities, as well as a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and the intersection with health and social justice.
