Legislative Budget Analyst

Bachelors degree, Master's preferred.

Analyzes and prepares recommendations concerning Governor's proposed budget; participates in the negotiation and preparation of budget bill copy and memoranda for consideration by the Members of the Assembly; Monitors expenditures and reviews relevant financial reports; drafts, develops and analyzes legislation in the appropriate substantive areas; orally presents bills in Committee meetings and answers questions posed by Committee Members regarding legislation; develops policies and programs, and performs oversight functions. Performs additional tasks as required.
