Job Description: As a Vice President for Digital Media, you'll lead media planning and buying efforts for a diverse range of clients, including campaigns, corporations, associations, nonprofits, and issue advocacy groups. Your role is pivotal in delivering impactful creative and innovative media campaigns to help clients achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

 

  • Spearhead digital paid media efforts for non-profit, corporate, and campaign clients, with a focus on planning, buying, and reporting
  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, programmatic advertising, Connected TV (CTV), and more.
  • Collaborate with TV team to build fully integrated media plans that are aligned with campaign goals and ensure strategic use of their resources
  • Build and maintain relationships with a variety of ad partners and data providers, staying up to date with latest in media trends and targeting offerings to bring opportunities to client work
  • Supervise project workflows, managing team members and ensuring adherence to high-quality standards under the guidance of senior leads.
  • Communicate timing needs for campaign launch, including trafficking timelines and creative specs, to prioritize workflow to meet client expectations
  • Provide an active voice in developing and improving media process and execution, and communicate needs to client leads across the firm 
  • Act as a media strategy expert, aligning campaign tactics with client objectives in consultation with team leads.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of experience in a paid media role, with the ability to set up ads in platforms like Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, Programmatic buying, and providing tags to ad partners and ensuring they are implemented properly.
  • Strong understanding of the media landscape and a clear strategy for successful ad campaigns, including the specifics of targeting for political and advocacy campaigns. 
  • Deep knowledge of reporting and analytics, with an ability to measure the effectiveness of paid campaigns.
  • Background in campaigns or political organizations is a plus, particularly in persuasion and mobilization programs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow a strict QA process, especially during busy election season
  • Up to date on latest media industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Proven success in business development is highly desirable.

Benefits

SKDK is committed to pay equity. SKDK believes the target base compensation in this role is between $100,000-$120,000. In addition to base salary, SKDK considers other key components as part of total compensation, including but not limited to an annual discretionary bonus, commission on new business, and a comprehensive benefits package. Actual base compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, such as skillset, level of experience, and location.
