Job Description
The Office of Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (IL-08) is seeking applicants for the Fall 2023 Internship program in his Washington D.C. office. This in-person internship will run from September to approximately mid-December. Internship responsibilities will include: Supporting the legislative team with tasks as assigned, supporting the office with administrative work, letter writing, leading tours of the Capitol, and answering phones. Interns also have opportunities to attend meetings, hearings, briefings, and other events on Capitol Hill. The ideal candidate for this internship can carry out independent research, has strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and is able to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
The internship will offer students and young professionals invaluable experience and will play an important role supporting the legislative team. Ties to Illinois are preferred, but not required.
