As we continue to prioritize diversity and equity initiatives, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of DEI&C to lead our efforts by creating a culture that creates positive change and impact within our organization.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, dedicated to driving meaningful change and fostering a culture which embraces diversity in all its guises, inclusivity and belonging.

This role will be accountable for overseeing all DEI&C products and services including employee engagement, culture initiatives, disability, employee wellbeing, and mental health. It will also provide support to programs on programmatic DEI matters.

 

Key Responsibilities 

As Division Director, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  •   Effectively lead the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Culture department
  • Responsible for creating structure and generating clear goals to enable the team to accomplish its objectives and helping the team analyse their effectiveness
  • Develop organizational DEI strategies in collaboration with programs, strategic capabilities and operations to ensure a more strategically driven function which responds to organizational requirements
  • Oversee internal DEI consultancy services to strengthen the focus on employee wellbeing (mental and physical) initiatives
  • Oversee the cross-organization culture working group to ensure implementation of the approved culture strategy
  • Drive the organization-wide culture strategy via the cross-organization culture working group, including the creation of values for OSF
  • Accountable for change management around employee engagement and oversee the annual survey, including organizational level action planning. Support the DEIC associate director who will focus on action planning with programs, strategic capabilities and operations teams

Qualifications 

Essential:  

  • Educated to a degree-level (or equivalent) 

 

Experience  

Essential

  • Prior proven DEI&C leadership experience within a global organization
  • A strong balance of sector experience including not for profit, public and corporate
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Have experience of impactful employee wellbeing and disability initiatives
  • Have led organizational development initiatives including organizational culture transformation Familiarity with culture surveys, employee engagement surveys and action planning as a result of the survey outcomes

  • A hands-on people manager, who will be involved in executing the day-to-day work 
  • Strong DEI or organizational culture experience 
  • Deep DEI policy acumen  
  • Advanced stakeholder management at all levels 
  • Business judgment and understanding, project and change management, and managing organizational change and strategic aptitude 
  • Consulting, advisory and customer service

Languages: 

  • An excellent knowledge of English  
  • Knowledge of other languages would be an asset 

The salary range for this role in the U.S. is $120,900 - $229,700 (USD). The final offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set and level of experience.
