The Tisch MS Research Center of New York is currently the largest MS center in the world designed to deliver the very best of applied research and individual-based care for people with MS. We have a full-time staff of over 90 people. From nurses to administrators, neurologists to scientists, our staff is dedicated to ensuring an unparalleled experience at our Center. Our mission is to provide the best care in the world for people with multiple sclerosis.
Job Overview:
The TISCH MS Research Center of New York is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Development Administrative Coordinator to support our development team. This role involves providing direct administrative assistance to the Director of Development, managing donor records, handling donations, and assisting with fundraising activities. If you have strong organizational skills, enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and are passionate about supporting a non-profit mission, we want to hear from you! Requires someone with compassion and the ability to manage communication of sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Development.
- Provide administrative support to other departments as needed.
- Prepare, proofread, and process acknowledgment letters and tribute cards.
- Scan, enter, and process all donations.
- Perform data entry and create reports as needed.
- Manage records in CRM and other software platforms.
- Organize, print, and manage mailings under tight, timesensitive deadlines.
- Assist the Director of Development with all aspects of the annual gala.
- Prepare daily reports for the Executive Director.
- Maintain forecasting reports, fundraising projections, and outreach efforts in Excel.
- Manage the Team Tisch fundraising initiative.
- Work with the Accounting team on reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Sheets/Spreadsheets.
- Familiarity with Canva and Bloomerang software is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

- Familiarity with nonprofit development goals is a plus.
