This is a paid Fellowship

The MLKJFC Fellowship provides learning opportunities for serious, mature graduate and undergraduate students, with a passion for self-transformation through civic participation. The fellowship is time-limited to a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 1 year.

Who Should Apply?

• Graduate
• Undergraduate

Important Dates:

• Session 1 (Summer) June 3 - August 30, 2024
• Session 2 (Fall) September 23 - December 20, 2024

Eligibility Requirements:

• Live in Sacramento, Davis, San Jose, or Oakland areas
• A graduate or undergraduate student from an accredited college, university, or seminary A curiosity to learn
• Passion and potential to create significant social change
• Exhibit exceptional leadership and organizing potential
• Interest in community problem-solving and nonviolence principles
• Ability to travel
• Commitment to fulfill academic fellowship requirements
• Access to car, insurance, and a driver’s license
