As the Chief of Staff and Communications Associate in Corporate Responsibility, you will lead key initiatives, business objectives and operational management across Corporate Responsibility Communications. You will also act as a trusted advisor serving as an air traffic controller for the leader and team; an integrator connecting work streams and breaking down siloes; a communicator linking the team and the broader department; a confidant to the leader; and an innovator helping the team spot opportunities and lead greater impact.
In addition, you will be an energetic strategic advisor, communicator, and project manager who will help articulate Corporate Responsibility Communication’s vision and oversee the development and execution of communications plans that deliver for our priorities and stakeholders. A key factor of success for this role is coordinating priority projects and objectives within the Corporate Responsibility Department, working with Global Philanthropy, Government Relations, Public Engagement, Research & Policy, Sustainability. You must also coordinate closely with the larger corporate communications team, including Line of Business Communication and marketing groups, and will be able think creatively about how to integrate other stakeholders across business units and functions and others. In this position you will also work closely with the Chief of Staff for Firmwide Impact Marketing and Communications and need to work seamlessly across the Corporate Impact Marketing team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Corporate Responsibility Communications in managing the organization across the Communications team by staying one step ahead to help manage priorities effectively, coordinate activities, and track critical deliverables; work closely with other Chiefs of Staff and Business Manager counterparts within the Corporate Responsibility Department and other Line of Business Communication functions, Corporate Impact Marketing, and beyond to coordinate key initiatives, projects and deadlines
- Identify communications responsibilities and shared priorities with Global Philanthropy, Government Relations, Public Engagement, Research & Policy, Sustainability and other Corporate Responsibility Department teams and Line of Business partners to streamline work. Lead innovation, new ideas and better ways to work across Corporate Responsibility Communications and implement new business strategy, strategic initiatives, or platforms, including aligning department and support groups (Finance, Tech, Ops, Legal, Compliance)
- Develop and support senior level strategic presentations and project management, including decks, briefs, talking points
- Serve as a connection point across Corporate Responsibility Communications and the Corporate Responsibility Department where needed
- Help develop annual Corporate Responsibility Communication priorities, track progress against them, including mid-year and end-of-year reports recapping the team’s work. Work with financial partners and leadership team to track overall budgets including forecasting, planning, headcount, accruals, and reconciliations
- Guide members of the Corporate Responsibility Communications team on best practices and end-to-end solutions and continually look for process improvements. Partner with relevant external service/infrastructure providers and represent the Head of Corporate Responsibility Communications and team in respective internal/external working groups
- Help manage the Head of Corporate Responsibility Communications’ time and priorities effectively and bring together a cohesive story of the work we do and the value to the Firm. Crisis management issues, as needed (reputation risk, Government Relations) and lead and manage special projects as they arise

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to both define and deliver to conclusion a strategic agenda across multiple groups
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail with logical thought process
