Digital Communications Specialist

Position Summary: The Digital Communications Specialist will play a key marketing/communications role at NHA. We are looking for a team player to support and execute our communication, public relations, and marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong digital, graphic design and social media skills. In addition, this candidate will be familiar with email marketing, web content management and customer relationship management tools. We’re looking for someone who is creative, flexible and able to manage multiple assignments and duties. This role plans, organizes and coordinates social media and the development and implementation of all multimedia activities within the communication/education department, including graphic design and layout, video, website content, marketing materials, and publications; providing oversight for the development and production of a wide variety of informational, promotional, and educational materials in both digital and print formats; under the guidance and supervision of the Senior Director, Communications and Education.

Essential Functions:

• Graphic design for both print and digital media
• Social media management
• Digital marketing
• Email marketing including analytics and A/B testing.
• Supports marketing/public relations/communication efforts as assigned.
• Assists with event planning as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2 or 4-year degree in marketing, communications, or related field
• Experience in social media and/or digital marketing
• Graphic design experience in both digital and print media

Skill Requirements:

• Experience in graphic design, proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud
• Experience with Digital Media/Social Media/Online Platforms, MS Office
• Experience in video production and photography/photo-editing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-starter: ability to work independently and as part of a team.
