Our Stomping Ground (OSG) builds inclusive communities where people of all abilities thrive. We partner with affordable housing providers, local organizations, and residents to create programs that foster connection, interdependence, and a true sense of belonging.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Community Programs and Partnerships Director to support the growth of our community programming and lead our amazing team of Community Builders. This is a new leadership position that blends team supervision, strategic oversight, and an active presence at events.

You’ll oversee programming across multiple affordable housing communities, strengthen external partnerships, and help OSG deepen our mission impact throughout Northern Virginia.

Key Responsibilities

Lead & Support Our Team

· Supervise and mentor Community Builders and volunteers

· Support interns and staff professional growth

· Track participation and feedback for program improvement

Design & Oversee Programming

· Co-create monthly calendars and materials

· Coordinate scheduling, supplies, and logistics across sites

· Attend events regularly to provide guidance and ensure quality

· Represent OSG at presentations and public events

Grow Partnerships

· Strengthen relationships with housing, nonprofit, and business partners

· Initiate new partnerships across Northern Virginia, especially Loudoun County

· Support outreach, advocacy, and community engagement efforts

Qualifications

Required

· 2–3 years of experience supervising staff

· Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication

· Proficiency with Google Workspace

Preferred

· Background in education, social work, public health, or community development

· Experience with community-based or disability-centered programs

· Familiarity with Canva, WordPress, NEON CRM

· Fluency in Spanish, Aramaic, Vietnamese, or other languages a plus

· Available for some evenings and weekends

· Based in Northern Virginia with reliable transportation

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $65,000–$72,000, commensurate with experience
  • Healthcare stipend: $6,000 annually
  • Transportation stipend: $1,200 annually
