Project 42 Associate (Part-time)

About the Opportunity
The part-time Associate will support the Managing Director of Project 42 with strategic planning and the day-to-day operations of Project 42. This position is an opportunity to play a part in helping to shape the narrative of President Clinton’s record and its impact today. The Associate will work across teams at the Clinton Foundation, including the Clinton Presidential Center, gaining exposure to the strategy and operations of the organization.
Project 42 was launched to tell the impactful story of the Clinton administration. Drawing on President Clinton’s lifetime of public service and “putting people first,” Project 42 seeks to: apply the enduring lessons of President Clinton’s lifetime of public service, particularly his presidency, to the challenges of today; inspire the next generation of leaders; and foster a spirit of active citizenship and shared community.
Specifically, Project 42’s strategy is to highlight the record of the Clinton administration, especially its relevance to current issues, and engage with the alumni of the Clinton administration and presidential campaigns. Project 42 educates diverse audiences on the record of the Clinton administration; engages the alumni community as stewards of the shared legacy, deepens their connections with each other and the Foundation and expands support for the Clinton Foundation and Clinton Presidential Center to achieve these goals.
Core Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of large-scale live and virtual events and efforts to highlight the record of the Clinton administration, including its relevance to the current issues of today.
- Facilitate management of enhanced alumni connectivity and participation with Foundation staff and with one another, including reunions and interactive conferences/ Zoom calls
- Draft marketing communications (articles, op-eds, blogs, social media posts) through channels tailored to national, specific mainstream or social media audiences
- Assist with drafting of quarterly and one-off distributions of alumni mailings such as quarterly newsletters, website content, event postings, announcements and mailings
- Manage alumni data collection, reconciliation and data analysis for outreach, development and marketing purposes
- There will be other duties assigned
Minimum Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelors level degree
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Advanced ability to perform research and analysis and present information and data effectively in various formats including Word, Excel and/ or PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with high attention to detail
- Self-driven, highly responsive, high energy team player with ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a varying schedule including nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays.
Compensation
This opportunity is slated to work 29 hours a week with a range of $20-25 an hour.
