Red Table Talk Productions is the creative development, production, and content unit behind the Facebook Watch series, Red Table Talk. Our goal at RTT productions is three-fold; deliver quality programming to our Facebook partners; expand the RTT Universe by developing new IP, spin-offs, and incubating diverse talent; and work regularly across Westbrook Inc. to exploit and monetize the RTT brand (specifically, in audio and product) in ways that are aligned with RTT's core mission: To create an intimate, communal space for healing conversations.

Red Table Talk is hiring an ambitious Director of Communications to be responsible for creating and executing brand-focused communications strategies aimed at positioning RTT in the marketplace, as well as work hand in hand with Facebook Watch publicity and marketing on episode specific outreach and clip placement. The Director will be a leader within our lean team and report to the President of Red Table Talk. This position is uniquely positioned for someone who is still growing in their career and looking for an opportunity to own a communications function.

What You'll Do:

Develop strategies to drive market-awareness of RTT and show hosts

Serve as a spokesperson and representative of RTT to key partners

Work closely with Facebook to develop and execute both in-season, hiatus and premiere press strategies

Provide creative, out-of-the-box ideas to amplify individual episode viewership during in-season runs

Cultivate and call non-traditional PR outlets for episodes press placement, on a quick-turn, weekly schedule

Expand the public profile of key RTT executives among industry audiences, including relationship-building with key advertising industry trades and publications

Collaborate with Westbrook Media on content postings and strategies for growing RTT and hosts social channels

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years of communications, public relations, or marketing experience either in-house or at an agency, or both; entertainment experience is highly preferred

Demonstrable experience and knowledge of media relations, brand marketing, brand communications, and marketing industry events.

Strong written and verbal communications skills, sound judgment, and attention to detail.

Experience creating marketing campaigns and shaping narratives that highlight business capabilities.

Understanding of, and interest in, the entertainment industry.

Capacity to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed, highly collaborative environment.
