Job Description
Senate Republican office is seeking a conservative, driven, and experienced communicator for a high profile and fast-paced Press Secretary opening. Strong writing skills, attention to detail, and good press relationships are essential for this role. The Press Secretary will assist in booking both state and national press interviews for the Senator. They will also be expected to field and respond to inquiries, draft press releases and statements, serve as an on-the-record spokesperson, and work with the Communications Director to make decisions about press planning and interviews. This position is based in Washington, D.C. and will work under the direction of the Communications Director.
