The Chiles Academy is a public charter school named in honor of former Florida Governor Lawton Chiles who believed in improving the lives of all children. We offer a specialized curriculum, parenting classes, on-site child care, and referrals with community resources. By completing hybrid online learning and live taught classes led by certified teachers, original high school credit is earned for a standard high school diploma. Students participate in career exploration tracks throughout the year called Career Connections. This program allows students to get a taste of real life in the world of business, child care, food service, healthcare, and community organizing and social justice.
