Job Description
Senator Dianne Feinstein is seeking a deputy scheduler to join her team. Successful candidates will demonstrate outstanding interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, and be able to prioritize and follow through on multiple tasks in a high pressure/fast paced environment. Candidates should be well organized, detail-oriented, and have an ability to multi-task. Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: providing administrative and staffing support to the Director of Scheduling; organizing and vetting incoming meeting requests and invitations; coordinating travel arrangements; assisting with the Senator’s daily and long-term schedules; maintaining all scheduling files; archiving meeting requests; and other administrative duties as required by daily operations of the office. The ideal candidate will exercise discretion and maintain the confidentiality of information. They will also be available to work long hours when necessary. Please note that this is not an entry-level position and previous Congressional work experience and scheduling or executive assistant experience is preferred.
