About the Position
Are you passionate about public service and interested in learning how government works? Join Representative Stark's team as a Constituent Affairs Intern! This is a unique opportunity for motivated students to gain firsthand experience in the legislative process, constituent services, and community outreach.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with local government and state agencies
- Draft letters, reports, and other written materials
- Attend and summarize community meetings, hearings, and briefings
- Support constituent services by responding to inquiries and requests
- Help plan and promote events and outreach activities
- Manage and update office communications
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Open to high school and undergraduate students
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in government, public policy, or community service
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media platforms is a plus
