Job Description
Senator Bob Casey seeks a Regional Manager for his Scranton office to oversee regional outreach in Northeastern Pennsylvania under the supervision of the Outreach Director. This individual will act as the Senator’s liaison to government, community, and constituent groups and civic leaders; monitor local developments, opinions, and concerns in the region; represent the Senator at community events; and other duties as assigned. The onboarding salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $70,000, commensurate with experience.
The ideal candidate will be a deadline-driven individual who can work independently under pressure. This person will have excellent oral and written communications skills, a demonstrated capability to work creatively and generate new ideas, and the ability to effectively build and maintain relationships across the region. Qualified applicants will have several years of substantive experience in government, community outreach, and/or political organizing; solid ties to NEPA and deep personal relationships within the region; and a strong knowledge of local issues, geography, and demographics. This is not an entry-level position, and recent graduates will not be considered.
