Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Policy Analyst to join our team. The candidate shall know about public health programs and policies. Integrates knowledge and experience of public health programs and policies to guide cross-cutting procedural, multilayered, and multifaceted policy issues.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

a. Performs legislative analyses and develops summary documents to outline the potential impact of legislation.

b. Analyze data for reports, presentations, and publications.

c. Performs scientific, medical, and research literature searches.

d. Prepares slides and presentations for public health presentations and meetings.

e. Gathers program information regarding Division programs and develops briefing materials, PowerPoints, fact sheets, or talking points for Division leadership.

f. Prepares information such as 1-pagers, budget, or performance-related documents to respond to requests for information regarding DCPC programs.

g. Provides analysis and summary reports/briefs of programs/grantee policy-related activity to inform Division leadership.

h. Plans and organizes meetings, webinars, and conference calls related to cancer topics.

i. Develop agendas, draft materials, and take notes for DCPC cancer workgroups.

Minimum Education/Experience or Equivalent:

· Master’s degree in public health, public policy, or public administration with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

· Demonstrated experience tracking and analyzing legislative and non-legislative policies.

· Demonstrated experience developing summary policy reports/briefs.

· Demonstrated experience conducting literature searches/reviews.

· Demonstrated experience developing presentations, talking points, and fact sheets.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $91,897.00 - $119,463.00 per year
