Summary


Joining the Secret Service, Office of the Director will allow you to assist in planning, developing, implementing, coordinating, and administering the public affairs program to meet the Secret Service mission.


Duties

The selectee will serve as a Lead Public Affairs Specialist in the Office of the Director. Typical work assignments include:


  1. Plan, organize, direct, and execute, on a national level, activities with a nexus to news media in support of major Secret Service missions, programs, and projects
  2. Serve as coordinator for information programs on sensitive issues.
  3. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with members of the news media, specialized groups interested in the organizations programs and field offices
  4. Design strategic approaches that best convey messages to the intended audience.
  5. Coordinate and direct the activities of a multi-functional teams relating to Visual Information and Audio program management topics.
