Atlas Corps seeks an energetic and organized people-person with 5+ years of experience in partnership-building and business development to join our team. The purpose of this role is to ensure that the Partnerships Team achieves its placement and mission fulfillment goals by providing strategic and operational oversight of the team and placing Fellows. The Partnerships Senior Manager leads the Partnerships Team composed of a Partnerships Manager who is responsible for new lead generation and stewardship and a Talent Acquisition Manager who is responsible for Fellow recruitment and vetting. Both the Senior Manager and the Partnerships Manager are responsible for placements and ensuring that Host Organizations have successful hosting experiences that foster Fellows’ professional development. The primary focus of this position is developing strategy to execute new long term partnerships while sustaining and growing current partnerships with leading mission-driven organizations across the United States like CARE International, Girl Up, SAP, American Red Cross, and Making Cents International. The Partnerships Senior Manager works collaboratively to cultivate new relationships, steward current partners, and helps shape the national Host Organization recruitment strategy in collaboration with the Partnerships Manager and CEO.

Roles and Responsibilities
Atlas Corps is in an ambitious growth period to expand our organization as well as to establish our long-term growth strategy. In the near-term, Atlas Corps seeks to recruit around 60-100 Host Organizations per year for placements beginning in January, March, July, and October. In the mid-term, Atlas Corps seeks to launch a growth strategy to solidify our sustainability. The Partnerships Senior Manager will play a key role in implementing these activities by engaging existing and potential Host Organizations across the country while also bringing a strategic vision to the role. The following areas highlight the key roles and responsibilities of this dynamic position.
Host Organization Recruitment, Placement, Retention (60):
- Use Salesforce to maintain accurate records of leads, activities and interactions with Host Organizations
- Create tools to facilitate Host Organization recruitment in collaboration with the partnerships team, including coordinating and supporting content-based events that feature current Fellows.
- Identify and build relationships with prospective Host Organizations across the U.S., expand Fellow placement with current Hosts for multiple Fellow placements and partnership retention, manage and fulfill grant-funded placements by working closely with Development and Recruitment teams on timelines, pitching to Hosts, and candidate recruitment.
- Understand the talent needs of prospective Host Organizations in order to evaluate potential Fellow matches from our pool of more than 500 candidates from 130 countries.
- Ensure that current Host Organizations have successful hosting experiences by delivering an effective orientation; maintaining regular communications; conducting site visits and evaluations; and providing on-going coaching and support to supervisors and Fellows.
- Shepherd prospective Host Organizations through the selection process to ensure a strong Fellow match.
- Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective Host Organizations by effectively and promptly communicating, thinking creatively about new ways to deepen engagement, and responding to challenges with what can be done (not what can’t be done).
Sets Growth Strategy (30%):
- Develop marketing and sales strategies for new and existing Host Organizations in coordination with the Partnerships Manager & Communications team.
- Inform Fellow recruitment goals and target areas based on placement data and Host Organization feedback to ensure a strong candidate pool for future placement goals.
Manages Team (10%):
- Supervises both the Partnerships and Talent Acquisition Managers and fosters learning, providing leading indicators and actionable intelligence for other departments.
