- Marketing Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans aligned with EmergyCare's business objectives.
- Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders, including members, donors, volunteers, and the public.
- Lead brand strategy development and oversee creative campaigns to enhance brand awareness.
- Create and distribute compelling content across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.
- Manage digital marketing efforts, including social media, blogs, and podcasts, and measure campaign performance.
- Serve as the organization's media buyer and handle public relations activities, including press releases and media relations.
- Government Relations Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a proactive government relations strategy to advocate for EmergyCare's legislative and policy goals.
- Cultivate and enhance relationships with elected officials, governmental agencies, and advocacy groups.
- Monitor legislative activities, analyze potential impacts on EmergyCare, and advise leadership accordingly.
- Strategically advance organizational policy positions through effective communication and advocacy efforts.
- Plan and coordinate events and initiatives to support government relations objectives, such as town halls and meetings.
- Prepare and present materials articulating EmergyCare's positions to legislators and stakeholders.
Represent EmergyCare at industry associations and stakeholder meetings to promote organizational priorities.
Job Requirements:
- Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree in business, Political Science, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in marketing, public relations, or government affairs.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively.
- Proficiency in graphic design, presentation software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience managing marketing budgets, analyzing ROI, and utilizing data-driven insights.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Knowledge of marketing practices, advertising, market research methodologies, and digital media trends.
- Understanding of political processes, government relations, and policy advocacy.
- Skills:
- Proven ability to influence policy decisions and represent organizational interests effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to coordinate and execute marketing initiatives and government relations activities.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to develop strategies that drive demand for EmergyCare's services.
