Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, this position partners with internal national stakeholders to write, develop and produce communications and content required to support internal departments, campuses, programs and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Define and create necessary communication vehicles including email, text, newsletters, social media, website, etc.

Create and cultivate relevant, engaging content that elevates the brand and drives leads through email nurture, blog posts, eBooks/eGuides, infographics, articles and presentations.

Work with internal departments (including national stakeholders) to write and develop coordinated and planned communications ensuring consistency of messaging and alignment with defined institutional objectives.

Partner with the social media and external communications teams to drive engagement and ensure consistency of messaging across channels and audiences.

artner with product marketing team to develop and execute content strategies to nurture leads / prospects through engaging copywriting and diverse content types (including but not limited to video, podcast, blog, infographics, etc.).

Incorporate and proliferate a consistent brand message across all communications initiatives.

Support senior communications manager by drafting and/or editing multifaceted communications and content in support of University-wide updates, program launches, academic policy for curriculum updates, leadership transitions, issues/crisis management and major events/sponsorships.

Support the senior communications manager in drafting content and responses to comments for the institution president/dean's social media platforms elevating his or her presence and engagement in this space.

Generate KPI/metric reports to support the analysis of communications initiatives and offer recommendations for the best ways to optimize future efforts.

Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism or a related field; master's degree preferred.

7-10 years of experience in related positions.

Well-developed writing/journalistic, editing and project management skills.

Seasoned copywriting / content development skills.

Strong background in creating and implementing high-level communications plans.

Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office applications, email marketing platforms, text, project planning software, social media and blog platforms, and content management software.

Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Must be able to collaborate with a variety of colleagues across the organization, including leadership.

Strong organizational, logistical and planning skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining work quality.
