Job Description
The Office of Congresswoman Haley Stevens (MI-11) is seeking a Press and Digital Manager in a fast-paced Capitol Hill or Farmington Hills, MI office. This role requires the ability to manage rapid response requests and longer-term digital projects. This is an entry-to-mid level position.
Daily tasks include but are not limited to: proactively creating and managing content for the Congresswoman’s social media platforms, maintaining the Congresswoman’s website, graphic design projects, video filming and editing, staffing the Congresswoman during press interviews, writing and sending press releases and statements on behalf of the Congresswoman, and working with the Communications Director on long-term strategic communications plans.
Ideal applicants will be creative, highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with experience in digital media strategy. Qualifications include 1-2 years of experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or another professional-level video editing software, Adobe Photoshop, and Canva or another professional-level graphic design software. Photography skills are preferred.
Experience working on a campaign or a Congressional office is preferred.
