To support our mission, we are seeking a Senior Coordinator, Membership Marketing to join our Philanthropy Department in Reston, Virginia. We are seeking a Membership Marketing Senior Coordinator to join our team to primarily focus on coordinating the marketing efforts of membership programs as strategy, concept, copy, design, and production elements are being approved. In this role you will work closely with multiple NWF departments when coordinating the creative approval process. You will fully own the marketing coordination from start to finish, and will maximize performance on each individual campaign as well as the overall program. To do this, you must consistently deliver high quality, timely, and cost-effective marketing efforts.


Principle Duties (major areas of responsibility):


  • Provide final approvals for mail shop instructions, print proofs, and laser set-ups for direct mail campaigns.
  • Create and be responsible for the creative schedule to ensure that deadlines are met and final product meets expectations.
  • Work closely with the outside production vendor to ensure scheduling, logistical, and cost issues are discussed and resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • Receive, track, and vigilantly proof copy and artwork to ensure they meet creative concept and execution expectations.
  • Circulate artwork and copy to appropriate staff and/or stakeholders for approval in a timely manner. Once approvals are returned, make necessary changes and submit to Director for final approval.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


  • College degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Two to three years of professional experience in membership, fundraising, or direct mail marketing and/or production. Experience at a non-profit would be a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues both within NWF as well as vendor partners.
  • Entrepreneurial and self-starting, with the demonstrated ability to work independently and, when necessary, as an integral part of the team.
  • Strong project management skills, extremely high-level attention to detail, and the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Good correspondence, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to learn and use a variety of computer programs.
  • A team player willing to pitch and take initiative when needed. 
  • Passion for the preservation and protection of wildlife and wild places is highly desirable.

This position is based out of our Headquarters in Reston, VA. Compensation and Benefits:


The salary range for this position $55,000-$60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
