Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, Every Child Shines, the Community Connections Coordinator plays a key role in supporting a robust network of family-serving agencies by collaborating with key stakeholders, including our steering committee, cross-sector partners, and Parent Partners. If you are excited about building partnerships that create a more equitable landscape for families in East Boston, consider applying today!

 

Primary Responsibilities

●      Effectively engages community leaders and partners in thinking creatively how to create an environment where every child in East Boston enters kindergarten joyful, thriving and ready to learn

●      Serves as direct point of contact for sector members and represents the Every Child Shines team in external meetings

●      Cultivates and stewards relationships with individuals and external organizations

●      Acts as a resource to external organizations providing helpful resources and tracking what needs organizations have across East Boston

●      Supports evaluation, tracking, and analysis of relationship-building efforts to measure success

●      Communicates effectively and builds strong, trusting relationships

●      Coordinates trainings for sector members

●      Prepares MOUs as required (with support from Program Director)

●      Provides administrative support to the Director as needed

●      Schedules and prepares materials for cross/in sector meetings and prepares and distributes meeting notes

●      Follows up with members between meetings to ensure progress is being made

●      Performs other duties as required

●      Able to successfully pass a criminal background check as required by the regulations set forth by the Department of Early Education

●      Valid state driver’s license required
