About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Marketing Consultant as part of the Public Affairs Communications and Brand Management team, focusing on developing Naming and Consumer Value Proposition work for line-of-business partners . In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for strategic consultation with Marketing and Business leaders to ensure integration of brand strategy throughout customer and business strategies, using customer insights to drive business results.
- Leverage deep customer insights and brand development experience to partner with customer segments and lines of business (LOBs) leaders to drive business results across Wells Fargo, providing strategic consultation for brand integration using strategic tools including customer value proposition and positioning development.
- Act as a strategic thought leader for brand integration across the enterprise by assessing the needs of the business and all relevant customer insights to drive towards strategically sound solutions throughout business development cycles.
- Cultivate and grow influential relationships with the lines of business, Legal, Marketing and other teams and drive and heavily leverage customer qualitative and quantitative insights and analytics.
- Develop strategic solutions that fit Wells Fargo's naming architecture and value proposition principles, to deliver experiences to customers and employees that bring to live the Wells Fargo brand strategy.
- Contribute to the vision for the on-going evolution of brand strategy tools and development process.
- Lead complex initiatives and work across functional teams to strategize, plan and ensure execution of a variety of marketing, development strategies and programs with broad impact.
- Act as key participant in complex marketing analysis, customer retention, customer profile, sales and profitability for marketing.
- Participate and lead complex cross-functional groups to create, edit, and manage digital content for more advanced marketing campaigns, programs or initiatives that enable seamless customer engagement across all digital channels.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Job Expectations:
We will be looking for you to approach the business needs through a customer lens, as well as help guide the customer research process and value proposition development with internal and external agencies. We are looking for a strong project manager who can generate a wide range of strategic solutions to meet business needs at any phase of development cycle from inception through to execution of a product development, marketing campaign execution, etc.
Candidates must demonstrate a strong strategic and business management acumen to:
- Champion the brand strategy as a way to create differentiation and relevance through unified experience and expression across the enterprise and ensure line of business marketing teams and leadership are prepared and continuously a part of the change (short term) and continued manifestation of the brand across customer experiences (long-term).
- Ensure the enterprise approach to brand strategy continues to strengthen and evolve through Audience Value Propositions, Positioning and Messaging Strategies.
- Monitor brand, business and customer measurement to have a holistic view of brand strategy impact on business performance.
- Understand brand measurement methodologies and how they drive brand decisions to maximize business results, over time, across products, services and customer experiences.
