Job Description
The Republican staff of a Senate Committee are seeking an economist with expertise in data analytics and economic forecasting. Interest and expertise in tax policy and the budget process is preferred. Key responsibilities include research and writing reports, policy recommendations, monitoring economic indicators and advising the members of the committee on economic trends. Candidates should be able to distill complex economic concepts and language into easily understandable content. The ability to run models and analyze big data sets is required. A team player with the ability to think strategically, pay strict attention to detail, and work collaboratively to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner is a must.
