Summary
As a Director for Communications, you will and serve as an expert advisor to the Senior Deputy Comptroller for Public Affairs and Chief of Staff on all editorial, graphic design, and disclosure matters.
Duties
As a Director for Communications, you will:
Establish, recommend, and/or uphold the Office of Public Affairs communications vision and strategy, goals and objectives, and priorities in support of the agency's mission. Direct planning that complements the Office of Public Affairs and the OCC's overarching vision, mission, strategy, priorities, and plans.
Ensure the OCC's editorial, graphic design, and disclosure operations have the personnel, resources, equipment, and training necessary to execute their responsibilities.
Direct OCC's editorial operations to support agency initiatives, official publications, issuances, policy, and other products.
Direct all agency visual identity standards, reinforcing a strong and recognizable agency brand consistent across all agency publications and material (such as event collateral, recruiting products, web sites, etc.)
Direct the execution of OCC's related responsibilities under the disclosure requirements of the Freedom of Information and Privacy Act (FOIA).
Lead, motivate, and develop a staff of employees to accomplish operational responsibilities.
Oversee the preparation, revision and review of the division budget and operating plan, and monitor the centrally managed agency print budget; provide administrative and information support to the Chief of Staff, coordinating division budgeting, planning, space needs, etc.
