Job Description
Senator Edward J. Markey (D-MA), seeks a Correspondence Manager/Systems Administrator to manage the correspondence program of the office, as well as oversee and provide technology support for his DC and the state offices. Correspondence Manager responsibilities will include overseeing the office’s correspondence system, including working with a team of Legislative Correspondents to ensure that all incoming mail is accurately responded to in a timely manner. Familiarity with the Voice constituent services system is a plus. Systems Administrator responsibilities will include updating, maintaining, and providing support for hardware and software for the offices by collaborating with Senate support agencies; managing and organizing office data; ensuring staff compliance with Senate Cyber Security requirements; and serving as the point of contact for Senate support agencies on information technology issues. Familiarity with Capitol Hill systems, and experience in one or more of the job duties is greatly preferred. The salary for this position is $69,019 annually, with benefits that include a federal student loan repayment option.
