Job Description
Senator Hirono seeks law clerks for the spring semester to work with her Judiciary Committee team. Primary responsibilities include preparing for legislative, nominations, and oversight hearings; legislative and legal research; and other responsibilities as assigned. Successful candidates are strong writers, detail-oriented, able to work under tight deadlines, and able to handle multiple projects.
Consideration will be given to current law students who can work a minimum of two full days during the week (Monday-Thursday). This position is in-person and is based in Washington, D.C. and all law clerks must be based in or near Washington, D.C. for the tenure of their clerkship.
