Duties

This position is located in the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Office of the Assistant Administrator (OAA), with six vacancies that will be a remote position with the duty location TBD after selection.

As a Policy Analyst, you will perform the following duties:

Serve as an analyst to coordinate legislative, regulatory, and policy issues relevant to marine development. Assist in the development and analysis of national policies at the National Marine Fisheries Service.

Serve as an analyst and advisor to management on the evaluation of the effectiveness of national policies.

Support internal and external policy forums, workshops and meetings including agenda development, meeting planning and logistics and drafting of briefing documents and white papers.
