Work Hours: Full-time

Salary range: $70,000 - $85,000

The Credible Messenger Mentoring Movement (CM3) aims to transform the lives of justice-involved youth, their families, and the systems that impact them by supporting and advancing credible messenger mentoring initiatives in communities across the nation. Credible messengers – community-rooted, indigenous natural leaders who have successfully navigated their experiences with the justice system — help justice-involved and foster youth with personal development, family and community relationships, educational support, workforce development, and leadership training opportunities.

Credible Messengers trained by CM3 currently serve nearly one thousand youth and families in nearly 20 states and cities nationwide. CM3 is a national organization headquartered in Washington, DC.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

CM3 receives financial support from national foundations, federal support from entities such as the Corporation for National and Community Service, as well as local and state contracts. Currently, roughly half of the operating budget comes from government funding and the other half from foundations and nonprofit organizations with which we partner that provide fee-for-service or pass-through funds. Working with the CEO and senior team, the grants manager will lead the management and internal coordination of all in-hand grants, contracts, and deliverables for CM3. Working with an innovative and growing organization in this pivotal role is an exciting opportunity.

  • Ensure the organization is in touch with program officers over the course of the grant period to tell them about wins and build relationships throughout the grant cycle.
