Management consulting firm is seeking a DIRECT HIRE Strategic Analyst at our client's Washington, DC location. This position is designated to provide executive-level support for our client's senior leadership in a broad area of integrated planning and product support.
Job Description Responsibilities
Perform activities such as:
- Serve as a strategic information integrator for the Exploration Systems Development Mission Directorate, working in collaboration with a rapid-response team to interact with and support senior officials at NASA HQ and other Centers
- Prioritize and integrate content for high-level strategic products and plans including highly technical information related to spaceflight hardware and human spaceflight programs
- Apply passion and experience in the space industry and motivation to support the NASA mission as well as the Artemis mission to return humanity to the Moon
- Develop executive products for use with government, industry, academic and public audiences
- Develop and implement effective project-level stakeholder plans that inform target audiences about key mission milestones and activities and align with agency messaging
- Work with subject matter experts and the communications team to develop key messaging and responses to queries, converting complex, nuanced technical content into coherent and accessible products
- Implement a comprehensive integration strategy to develop products that leverage approved content libraries, applying government, industry, and business technology best practices that align with federal policy
- Collaborate with agency representatives to develop plans, proposals, and other management collateral
- Integrate organization-specific content within client's office, subject matter experts, and external stakeholders to provide data and analysis that measures progress toward accomplishing goals
- Propose recommendations for development and enhancement of goals and strategies consistent with the mission directorate assignments and agency priorities
- Apply technical understanding of mission directorate goals and data to represent the office as liaison to multiple agency communities of practice
- Collaborate with the Office of Communications, other stakeholders, and partner organizations to review, edit, and coordinate the publication process of articles and blog posts to comply with NASA media review, approval, and release rules; follow the existing NASA style guides and templates for various publications
- Manage social media campaigns, write, and create engaging content for a full suite of social media accounts, including Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook and collaborate with other NASA social media accounts to amplify content
- Analyze digital metrics to make recommendations for improvement and increase return on investment
- Create products for senior leadership; provide ongoing design and formatting updates to presentations
- Ability to handle multiple and complex projects simultaneously under stringent time frames and changing priorities/conditions
- Provide support, coordination, execution for special studies and perform additional duties, as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE a bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years of related experience
- Excellent writing skills, including technical information comprehension
- Advanced presentation development skills
- Positive attitude with ability to thrive on collaborative team

- Very proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experienced in the use of Adobe Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro)
- Experience writing several forms of content tailored to different platforms and audiences
- Experience publishing social media content organically and through third-party tools
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills and an ability to interact with all levels of management and organizational staff
- Ability to multi-task to accommodate high-pace activity
- Excellent organization, analysis, and planning skills
- Excellent administrative skills with the ability to anticipate needs
- Ability to plan and execute assigned tasks with minimal direction
- Experienced in supporting Senior Level Executives
- Ability to coordinate and collaborate with government, contractor, and vendor team members
- Ability to obtain an OPM Public Trust Clearance
