Legislative Aide

Senator Peter Welch seeks a Legislative Aide to handle FEMA, Postal, and Judiciary Committee issues, including but not limited to immigration, election law and democracy issues, and judicial ethics. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting Policy Advisors, Legislative Assistants, and the Chief Counsel in drafting bill and letter sign-on recommendations, hearing and meeting memos, and other relevant legislative products; developing bills and oversight letters/reports; preparing the Senator for meetings, events, and votes; and taking constituent and advocacy meetings.
