The Secretary of the Senate’s Official Reporters of Debates is seeking a Morning Business Coordinator. This is professional clerical work assisting the Official Reporters of Debates. Work includes gathering all W matter materials (consisting of executive and legislative messages, bills, resolutions, reports, amendments, notices, etc.) printed in the Morning Business section of the Congressional Record (Record), compiling other materials for inclusion in the Record, and recording daily floor activity as a reference for Official Reporters. Work is bound by Senate rules and regulations; the Senate Ethics Manual; the U.S. Senate Handbook; and Secretary of the Senate policies and procedures, but requires independent judgment in setting priorities and handling assignments. The complete vacancy announcement and application may be found on the Employment link of Webster or https://www.senate.gov/employment.
