U.S. Senator Chris Coons’ Washington, D.C. office is seeking applicants for a full-time or part-time communications internship for summer 2024. Tasks will include tracking media clips, editing video/photo/audio, drafting press releases, and assisting members of the communications team with a wide range of projects. Applicants must be undergraduate or graduate students or recent graduates who can work at least 20 hours a week from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Prior internship experience in media, campaigns, or government is preferred. Experience with digital communications – including work with graphics and photo and video editing – is also strongly preferred. Our office offers paid internships to applicants with demonstrated financial need. The internship will run from late May to early August and the application deadline is April 20th. Delaware ties are preferred.
