The Office of U.S. Senator Brian Schatz is seeking applications for an experienced press secretary. Primary duties will be drafting press releases and remarks, helping develop medium and long-term communications plans, interacting with reporters and TV and radio producers, and working closely with the rest of the Senator’s communications team. The role will also include assisting with other communications tasks as needed. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented with a strong background in media relations, and must be an excellent writer, editor, and researcher. Prior press experience required.
