Summary

This position is located in the Executive Office of the President, U.S. Trade Representative in the WTO and Multilateral Affairs. The position is responsible for the execution of trade agreements of the U.S. including the coordination of all aspects of trade policy within the U.S. government, bilateral and multilateral issues related to trade.

Responsibilities

As a POLICY ANALYST TRADE, GS-0301-13/14/15, you will perform the following duties:

Develop and implement U.S. policy positions as they relate to trade.

Lead or participate in U. S. delegations to multilateral international trade negotiations and conferences.

Assist in the preparation of Congressional testimony, responds to controlled correspondence, briefing materials, summary statements and speeches related trade issues.

Lead development of written products on trade policy, programs and research required to communicate U.S. government positions to key stakeholders, with bilateral counterparts, and in multilateral contexts.
