The Subcommittee on Government Operations and Border Management Chair, Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ), is seeking a Legislative Aide to support the Subcommittee’s governmental affairs portfolio. Working closely with the subcommittee team, the position will have a specific focus on the civil service, the General Services Administration, and oversight of federal programs. Responsibilities include monitoring and managing legislation; planning and preparing hearings; engaging with stakeholders and federal agencies; and drafting memos and talking points. Qualified candidates must possess exceptional writing and research skills, be adept at articulating complex policies clearly and concisely, be able to prioritize competing projects, and work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Arizona ties, previous Hill experience, and a public policy background are preferred.
