Title: Director, Health Care Advocacy

What You Do
- Support the Vice President of Health Care Advocacy in the day-to-day management of health care advocacy clients
- Develop and execute broad awareness and advocacy campaigns that include a variety of programming and initiatives
- Manage relationships and coordinate meetings with physician members, advocacy groups and other allied stakeholders
- Research, distill, and communicate on health care policy topics
- Assist in the development of external communications, email marketing and social media content
- Conceptualize / develop stakeholder programming and events
Your Skills
- 5-7 years of experience working in non-profit management, advocacy, policy, or campaign politics
- Interest in healthcare advocacy
- Strong written and verbal communications and persuasion skills
- Organized and task-oriented
- Ability to manage multiple projects across disease areas at once
- Adaptability to meet changing priorities
- Sense of initiative, looking for opportunities to innovate and improve
- Willingness to learn and incorporate feedback
