Senior Policy Advisor

Senior Policy Advisor: Rep. Suzan DelBene (D-WA), a Member of Democratic Leadership and the Ways and Means Committee, seeks an experienced candidate for a senior policy advisor position to cover a broad portfolio of issues including trade, foreign affairs, and defense. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 of experience handling trade policy. Responsibilities will include staffing the Member, monitoring committee and floor activities, advancing legislative initiatives, drafting constituent correspondence, and representing the office at events and in meetings. Qualified candidates should have strong communication abilities, relevant legislative experience, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment. This is not an entry-level position; knowledge of trade policy issues are necessary for this position.
