Overview

SKDK is seeking a senior associate to join its Direct Mail Team for the 2024 cycle. This position supports the SKDK Direct Mail Account Team with program execution. 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with SKDK Direct Mail Team to write, develop and create direct mail
  • Track mail creation, approvals and budgets
  • Coordinate content comments and edits
  • Manage SKDK’s direct mail invoicing and payment system

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences: 

  • 4+ years of communications and/or management experience on political campaigns, on Capitol Hill, with progressive political organizations or at advertising firms.
  • Understanding of direct mail and exceptional writing skills are a must. 
  • A proven ability to analyze quantitative/qualitative research.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines in tandem.
  • A willingness to work long hours and weekends when necessary (campaign hours).
  • A team player who works well with a diverse team.  

Benefits

SKDK is dedicated to ensuring pay equity. SKDK believes the target range of base compensation in this role is $75,000-$90,000.

 

The company's approach to total compensation extends beyond the base salary and includes various key components

such as an annual discretionary bonus, commission on new business, and a comprehensive

benefits package. The determination of actual base compensation is influenced by a myriad

of factors, including skill set, level of experience, and geographic location.
