Sr. Policy Analyst

• Conducting research and analysis of complex policy issues related to specific human services programs.
• Developing policy options and recommendations based on research and analysis.
• Collaborating with stakeholders, including program staff, subject matter experts, and external partners, to develop policy proposals and solutions.

• Developing policy briefs, white papers, and other written materials to communicate policy options and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Preparing and delivering presentations to internal and external audiences on policy issues and recommendations.
• Coordinating with program staff and external partners to ensure effective communication and implementation of policy guidance and recommendations.

• Managing and overseeing policy projects, including developing and implementing project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Providing technical assistance and guidance to program staff and external partners on policy initiatives.
• Leading and facilitating stakeholder engagement activities, including meetings, focus groups, and other forms of outreach.

• Developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation plans to assess the effectiveness of policy initiatives.
• Analyzing and interpreting data to make recommendations for program improvement and policy changes.
• Providing reports and updates on policy initiative progress and impact to stakeholders.

• 
  Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in policy analysis and development, with a focus on human services programs.
• Strong knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and technologies related to Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) systems for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, SNAP benefits.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information and communicate policy recommendations effectively.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders in human services programs.
• Advanced degree in public policy, public administration, or a related field is strongly preferred.
