Summary
This position is located in the Made in America Office (MIAO). The incumbent serves as a policy analyst, responsible for providing analysis on government policies within the areas assigned. The incumbent is provided with complex assignments and responsibilities in performance of duties.
Duties
As a Policy Analyst, GS-0301-13, your typical work assignments may include the following:
1. Serves as a Desk Officer (policy analyst) with policy related experience in the area of pertinent federal government laws and regulations.
2. Initiates and performs high level objective qualitative and quantitative analysis of portions of complex policy and/ or economic issues to inform decision making.
3. Leads the development and presentation of recommendations to higher-level decision makers.
4. Reviews and interprets pertinent subject-related directives, proposed legislation, and policy documents.
5. Monitors OMB policy for assigned areas to ensure integration and compliance.
