The Foundation seeks a program associate to help inform and build capacity to effectively implement evidence-based programing, as part of the National Community Strategies (NCS) team. The NCS team, leads the Foundation’s community change initiatives outside of its hometowns of Baltimore and Atlanta and is responsible for supervising a team focused on working with local partners toward the goal of all youth and families having influence and resources needed to thrive in communities that are strong and safe. The team advances strategies to ensure that youth and families of color have what they need to thrive — safe communities, affordable housing and access to resources that promote the well-being and positive development of young people.
Qualified candidates will have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related fields and a minimum of three years of experience in the human services field.
- Knowledge of evidence-based program implementation within human services, with preference given to candidates with experience in site selection, training and coaching, decision support data systems and system-level policies necessary to support successful evidence-based program implementation
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build constructive and effective relationships.
