The Office of U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is seeking detail-oriented, highly-organized individuals to serve as in-person Legislative Interns in our New York offices. Successful candidates will demonstrate outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, and will be able to prioritize and follow through on multiple tasks. Responsibilities include answering constituent calls, sorting and responding to constituent mail, assisting the front office, attending briefings/hearings and preparing memos for staff, performing various research projects, and assisting with the Senator’s events. Candidates must be flexible and comfortable working in a team environment. Senator Gillibrand’s office is an equal opportunity employer.
