State Representative Tom Fabricio is now accepting applications in his Miami Lakes, Florida office to assist with a variety of administrative and public relations matters requiring a thorough understanding of the policies, procedures, and operating practices of the Florida Legislature.

  • Constituent Management
  • Day-to-day Operations: Monthly Bills, Office Files, Office Property, Office Supplies, Office Communications
  • Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Reports
  • Intradistrict Travel
  • Municipal, County, and Regional Issues Related to the District
  • Community and Public Outreach

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Knowledge and application of House Rules, Protocol, House-specific Applications, House Administrative Policies and the Legislature’s Joint Policies and Procedures.
  • Constituent Management
  • Day-to-day Operations: Monthly Bills, Office Files, Office Property, Office Supplies, Office Communications
  • Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Reports
  • Manage Office Expense Accounts and Travel System
  • Required Legislative Filings
  • Municipal, County, and Regional Issues Related to the District
  • Community and Public Outreach
  • Mandatory Trainings as Assigned

Minimum Qualifications

An Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university and two years of administrative experience.


Professional administrative experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

Salary

Annual salary $38,328

Excellent employee benefits.


This position is not eligible for remote work.
